On the afternoon of 8 April 2013, China National Influenza Center (CNIC) of China CDC, as one of the WHO Influenza Collaborating Centres, sent the human infected avian influenza A(H7N9) virus strains to five WHO influenza Collaborating Centres and two health institutions in the UK and Hong Kong SAR, China. 

    Avian Influenza A(H7N9) Virus strains have been already provided to relevant institutions in mainland China for further scientific research.
