National Center for Public Health Surveillance and Information Se vices aims to promote the modernization of business by application of the information technology. It holds two major functions: public health information resource management, as well as information technology support and se vice. Our working tasks include: construction, maintenance and management of the national public health information network platform, public health surveillance data management and analysis, domestic and foreign intelligence information collection, integration and sharing of public health data resource, studies on the health statistical methods, technical advice and services etc. Initiated in 2004, the Infectious - Diseases and Public Health Emergencies Reporting System have become a landmark project in the public health informatics domain.
